Serie A rule changed for non-EU players

The FIGC (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) will allow Serie A teams to buy two new non-EU players per season rather than one.

Italian Football Federation put a limit for non-EU players after World Cup 2010 and Italy's disappointed performance to let clubs to focus on young talents and give new stars to Italian football.

The Clubs were pushing to change this rule back and Italian Football Federation has announced that Serie A teams will be able to buy new two non-EU players from this season again.

So Italian Teams might show better performances on European Cups (main target is Uefa Champions League) with new non-EU players (especially with the transfers from South American countries)
